"Wonderful witch-themed German place with hearty home made food. Very well organised corona-wise when open for eating in. Doing delicious pancakes/crepes and grill food and pommes and drinks for take away during lockdown. Near nice countryside and a Reiterhof for walking and bikes. Lovely beer garden."

"A must if you are in the area! Amazing food, incredibly friendly people (they don't speak English so use Google translate to help you). My husband and I came here with friends and we all got different schnitzel so that we could taste the different varieties. My favorites were the ones with a mushroom topping (had a thin savory mushroom gravy on top) and the garlic (had some sort of 2 layers of cheese with garlic mixed in the top layer). Schnitzel was the perfect combination of crispy and savory and the different "types" didn't just mean they added a different topping but cooked the schnitzel in differently seasoned batter to complement the topping.... it was hands down the best schnitzel I've ever had! For those with young children- the place is decorated with owls and witches, but for the most part they are not scary they are more like fun Halloween decorations- that being said if they are sensitive to that type of thing you can always eat outside.... HIGHLY recommend eating here!!"

"Tasty food and a quaint interior. This place seems to be favoured by all the cyclists from around, but also families with kids, the usual Biergarten crowd and whoever else happens to pass it. The service is partially self-service, so one orders at the counter, but they bring the food to the table. The payment is accepted only in cash and right away, which some clients like a lot because it spares them waiting for the check. The food is simple but tasty and has really fancy names. The child liked his potato pancakes with apple mousse a lot!"

"Very fun place! We were there for lunch and had delicious german cuisine. Waiter was very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Would have been 5 stars if one of the staff wouldn’t have filed her nails at the bar."
